BLOCS will serve as sponsor for the 2026 Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) girls’ and boys’ basketball championship games.

Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS) announced Feb. 6 it will serve as the sponsor for the 2026 Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) girls’ and boys’ basketball championships. The tournament tips off with first-round games on Feb. 11, with the championship finals held at the historic Palestra on Sunday, Feb. 22.

“We are honored to sponsor this celebrated and long-standing Philadelphia tradition – the PCL Basketball Championships,” said BLOCS CEO Rob Delany.

Since 1980, BLOCS has provided scholarships to help children access high-quality, faith-based education throughout Pennsylvania.

The 2026 PCL girls’ basketball semifinals are set for 5:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, at Finneran Pavilion on Villanova University’s campus. The boys’ semifinals will be held at the Palestra on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The girls’ and boys’ championship doubleheader will take place Sunday, Feb. 22, at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., respectively, also at the Palestra.
