Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez celebrated Mass Jan. 31 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Philadelphia with members of the Neocatechumenal Way, including families of the Missio ad Gentes communities at St. Charles Borromeo and St. Michael parishes. The families were sent to Philadelphia 14 years ago by Pope Francis to serve in evangelization within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Following the liturgy, the archbishop joined the community for fellowship and heard personal testimonies from members, including youth and young adults. The archbishop was joined by Father Wellington M. Muñoz, parochial administrator of St. Charles Borromeo Parish, and Father Fernando Londoño, parochial administrator of St. Michael Parish.
