Sister Kathleen Patricia Haughey, Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 75 years, entered eternal life on February 22, 2026, at Notre Dame Long Term Care in Worcester, Massachusetts, at the age of 94 years old.  Sr. Kathleen is the daughter of Patrick M. and Eleanor (Boyle) Haughey, born in White Plains, NY, on April 20, 1932, and is the sister of the late Therese M. Haughey, James P. Haughey, John C. Haughey.  She is survived by her loving sisters, Isabel M. Haughey, OSF, and Eileen A. Harrington, her loving brother Daniel C. Haughey, and many nieces and nephews.

Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame on August 6, 1950.  During her 75 years in religious life, Sister Kathleen taught in nine archdiocese schools, later becoming a Speech and Language Pathologist where she ministered in Baltimore for 31 years in many Catholic and Public schools.  In 2004, as a Pastoral Associate, Sr. Kathleen served at St. Thomas More Parish until 2014.

A Mass of Resurrection will be offered on April 11^th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Katherine of Siena, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA  19114.  Interment will take place Wednesday, April 15^th at 11 a.m. at the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur’s cemetery at Ilchester, Maryland.
