St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls hosted its first Jefferson “Healthcare Careers in 1-2-3” Symposium on Friday, March 27, welcoming more than 50 students for a day of hands-on learning with healthcare professionals from Jefferson Health.

The event highlighted career pathways in healthcare and the contributions of women in the field.

The program featured remarks from Dr. Michelle Connelly, senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Jefferson North, and keynote speaker Tricia Nicholas ’93, patient experience director at Jefferson North.

Students also heard from a panel of healthcare professionals representing multiple disciplines and participated in breakout sessions focused on mentorship, basic clinical skills, and patient care practices.

The symposium supports St. Hubert’s ongoing commitment to experiential learning and career exploration through its “Healthcare Careers in 1-2-3” program, a three-step partnership connecting students with college coursework, mentorship, scholarships, and potential employment opportunities within Jefferson Health.
