Parishioners and visitors gathered at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul on Sunday, March 29, for Palm Sunday Mass celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Pérez. The Mass began outside the cathedral with songs, the blessing of palm fronds, and a Gospel reading before a procession inside. Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the Passion of the Lord is proclaimed as Christians around the globe mark the beginning of the holiest week of the year.
