Young adults gathered before dawn for Eucharistic Adoration, Benediction, and reflection outside the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown on Saturday, March 28, as part of Sonrise Festival, a prayerful Holy Week gathering for young adults. Archbishop Nelson Perez concluded the morning by celebrating Mass.
The festival, co-led by the archdiocesan Office of Ministry for Young Adults, Czestochowa Young Adults, and event co-founder and spiritual director Heather Makowicz, explored the theme “Even darkness is not dark for You,” from Psalm 139.
