Sister Kathryn Frances McTague SSJ, (formerly Sister Edward Angela,) age 92, died on March 30, 2026.

The daughter of the late Edward and Frances (nee Thornton) McTague,

She attended St. Rose of Lima Grade School and West Catholic High School.

In September 1951 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1959.

Sister Kathryn ministered in the dioceses of Allentown, Camden, Newark and Philadelphia.

She is preceded in death by her brother Daniel McTague and her sister Angela Glazer. She is survived by her niece, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephew and members of her Congregation the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia.

Friends are invited to Saint Joseph Villa on April 9, 2026, beginning at 9:30 AM. A Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on May 18, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Cape May, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister’s name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031 or to The Branches Outreach, Rio Grande, NJ.
