More than 230 archdiocesan priests joined Archbishop Pérez and Philadelphia auxiliary bishops May 18–21 at a conference center in Hershey, Pa., for the annual Priests’ Convocation, a four-day gathering of prayer, reflection and fellowship. This year’s theme was “Keep Them in Your Name” (John 17:11).

In a March 20 Facebook video, Archbishop Pérez asked for prayers as priests celebrate their priesthood and deepen their relationship with the Lord, one another and the faithful of Philadelphia.

Brian McCarthy, chief strategy officer for the Archdiocese, and Dan Cellucci, president and CEO of the Catholic Leadership Institute, provided an update on the Trust and Hope Initiative.
