A Retreat for Prison Ministers will take place Aug. 3-5 in Malvern for Catholics engaged in prison, jail, and detention ministries.
Organized by the Catholic Prison Ministries Coalition in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova, the Diocese of Camden, Mary Mother of Captives Prison Ministry, and Catholic Charities of South Jersey, this regional overnight retreat promises to be a spiritually enriching experience.
Participants will delve into the spirituality of Pope Leo XIII, guided by his papal motto, “In the One we are One.” Engaging talks will be delivered by notable speakers, including Fr. Jeremy Hiers and Sr. Therese Delgenio, a longstanding mentor and friend of Pope Leo. This retreat offers a unique opportunity for personal reflection, growth, and fellowship among those dedicated to serving the incarcerated community.
