Colecta para las víctimas del huracán Sandy

El arzobispo Chaput ha invitado a las 257 parroquias en la Arquidiócesis de Filadelfia a participar en una segunda colecta opcional el sábado 24 y domingo 25 de noviembre para los esfuerzos de ayuda a las víctimas del huracán Sandy.

Todos los fondos aportados a esta colecta serán destinados a Servicios Sociales Católicos de la Arquidiócesis de Filadelfia, que utilizará los recursos donados para ayudar a las víctimas de la tormenta Sandy localmente y en otras diócesis.

Por favor, continúen orando por todos los afectados por el huracán Sandy. Gracias de antemano por su caridad y buena voluntad.

Three new priests ordained for Archdiocese

Archbishop Charles Chaput ordained Sean Loomis, John Patrick Stokely, and Thomas Viviano to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Saturday, May 18. All three men have completed their program of priestly formation and course of studies at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, Montgomery County.
