Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia kicked off Catholic Schools Week with a 1:15 p.m. Mass Monday, Jan. 27 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. The Mass was celebrated in memory of Andrew Crawford, class of 2015.

The Mass began a 40 Hours devotion at the high school, with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament by students during all theology classes on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

Other events to mark the week celebrating Catholic schools included a Student Appreciation Day Jan. 29 featuring representatives from Citizens Bank to discuss issues of financial interest with students; a volleyball game with seniors facing school faculty on Jan. 30; and a Faculty Appreciation Day and afternoon talent show on Jan. 31.
