The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is sponsoring an eight-day pilgrimage to shrines in Canada and United States for the Quebec Jubilee Pilgrimage, celebrating the 350th anniversary of the founding of Notre-Dame de Quebec Cathedral-Basilica.
The pilgrimage will be led by Auxiliary Bishop Daniel E. Thomas and Father G. Dennis Gill, director of the archdiocesan Office for Divine Worship.
The pilgrimage’s first stop will be the Shrine of Our Lady of the Martyrs in Auriesville, N.Y. The trip will also feature a visit to the shrine of the North American Martyrs, the birthplace and tomb of St. Kateri Tekakawitha and include the jubilee Mass at Notre Dame de Quebec Cathedral.
Pilgrims will leave Philadelphia Wednesday, Sept. 10 and return Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Registration and payment are due by July 1.
