As many lay people in the Philadelphia Archdiocese know, St. Charles Borromeo Seminary is not just for the formation of priests and deacons.

The seminary’s newly renamed School of Theological Studies, formerly called the Religious Studies Division and in recent years the Graduate School of Theology, offers a learning opportunities and faith formation for lay men and women.

Laity and religious of all ages may pursue undergraduate and graduate courses in theology during fall, spring and summer.

For the first time, students will be able to pursue a new master of arts degree in philosophical studies. In addition to the master’s in theology degree program, other undergraduate degrees and programs for church ministry and catechesis are also available.
