Archbishop Charles J. Chaput announces the following appointments, effective as noted:

PAROCHIAL ADMINISTRATOR
Reverend James R. DeGrassa, from Parochial Vicar, SS. Simon and Jude Parish, West Chester, to Parochial Administrator, pro tem, St. Cornelius Parish, Chadds Ford, effective March 27, 2017

PAROCHIAL VICAR
Reverend Monsignor Joseph Sundaram, to Parochial Vicar, Maternity B.V.M. Parish, Philadelphia, effective March 27, 2017

RETIREMENT
Deacon Mark J. Meinzer, Permanent Deacon, St. Philip Neri Parish, Pennsburg, effective March 13, 2017

OTHER
Reverend Monsignor Gregory J. Parlante, Pastor, St. Cornelius Parish, Chadds Ford, has been granted a health leave of absence

In addition, on behalf of the entire Presbyterate of Philadelphia, a warm welcome and prayerful congratulations are extended to Reverend Michael G. Mullan upon his incardination as a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Father Mullan currently serves as Parochial Vicar at St. Agnes Parish, West Chester.
