Sister Sebastian Krasowski, 98, of the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters Third Order Regular of St Francis, died Jan. 29 at St. Joseph Villa, Reading, where she had resided since 2012.

Born in Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Adela (Doblosiewicz) Krasowski.

Sister Sebastian entered the Bernardine Order in 1941 and was in her 77th year of religious life. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from College Misericordia in Dallas, Pa.

She ministered in Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia as an elementary teacher, superior, domestic, receptionist and local minister.

Sister Sebastian is survived by her sister, Mary Dziedzina of Alpharetta, Ga.

The funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 5 at Sacred Heart Convent Chapel, Mt. Alvernia, Reading. Burial followed in the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters’ cemetery, Mt. Alvernia.
