Sister Mary Theresa Ducie, S.S.J. (formerly Sister Michael Catherine), age 84, died March 31 at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown. She was 84 years old.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Ducie. Born in Philadelphia, she attended Corpus Christi School and John W. Hallahan High School before entering the Sisters of St. Joseph in September 1952. She professed her final vows in August 1960.
Sister Mary Theresa ministered in the Archdioceses of Philadelphia and Newark and the Diocese of Camden.
The funeral Mass was celebrated April 5 at St. Joseph Villa.
She is the sister of Edward Ducie and Kathleen Arnoldy (Walter) and is also survived by nieces, grandnephews and members of her congregation, the Sisters of St. Joseph.
