Archbishop Charles J. Chaput ordained six men to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Saturday, May 19 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.

Each of the newly ordained priests received their assignments in archdiocesan parishes where they will serve as parochial vicars (see below). A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish with his pastoral and administrative duties. Read more about the newly ordained men here. Father Kyle M. Adamczyk: St. Andrew Parish, Newtown
Father Brandon M. Artman: St. Matthew Parish, Philadelphia
Father Eric J. Banecker: St. Pius X Parish, Broomall
Father Manuel J. Flores: Our Lady of Grace Parish, Penndel
Father Patrick J. Muka: Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish, North Wales
Father Quy K. Pham: St. Albert the Great Parish, Huntingdon Valley

  • Msgr. Joseph Duncan lays hands on Kyle Adamczyk. Msgr. Duncan was parochial vicar at Our Lady of Peace Church when Adamczyk was young and one of the first priests that influenced him.
