Old St. Joseph’s Church (located at 321 Willings Alley, near 4th and Walnut Streets in Philadelphia) will host an afternoon of Advent and Christmas lessons and carols on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

 

 

In addition to festive Advent and Christmas songs for congregational singing, choral music will include works by Praetorius, Willcocks and Rutter. Organ music by Bach and Brahms will round out the program.

Admission is free, but a free will offering will be gratefully accepted. A reception will follow the program, and all are cordially invited.
