World Youth Day 2011, Aug. 16-21 in Madrid, Spain, is less than a year away.

The Philadelphia Archdiocese’s Office for Youth and Young Adults (OYYA) is sponsoring a pilgrimage from Philadelphia to Spain for the event.

OYYA is currently conducting information meetings for prospective pilgrims.

The archdiocesan trip, scheduled for Aug. 10-22, includes a pre-trip excursion to Lourdes, France and Fatima, Portugal.

At $3,993, the pilgrimage covers air

fare, four-star hotel accommodations, all meals, World Youth Day registration, transportation and more, according to OYYA officials.
