HAVERTOWN – St. Denis Boy Scout Troop no. 144 awarded three boy scouts with the organization’s highest honor Dec. 4. William Doyle, John Gavin and Sam Stocker, all members of St. Denis Parish, earned the Eagle Scout ranking. Scout Master Tim Ay presented the awards to the new Eagles Scouts during the ceremony, at which Life Scout Chaz Donnelly was the master of ceremonies.
Stocker is a freshman at Albright College and Doyle and Gavin attend Haverford High School. The young men were also presented the American Legion Service Award by the local American Legion chapter.
