MEDIA — St. Mary Magdalen’s CYO basketball teams recently hosted basketball games and fundraising activities to raise money for the Philadelphia-area Coaches vs. Cancer Program. The second annual St. Mary Magdalen Coaches vs. Cancer basketball weekend raised $6,850, which benefits cancer patients and their families across the Philadelphia region. I

n just two years, St. Mary Magdalen’s CYO basketball program has raised close to $11,000 for Coaches vs. Cancer, which is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
