St. Bede the Venerable School in Holland was one of the archdiocesan elementary schools in session on November 1st All Saints day this school year. They started their day off celebrating Mass as a school, with several parishioners attending as well. After Mass, Msgr. John Marine and the students gathered outside the newly renovated church to bless the statues of SS. Peter and Paul. A procession led by Msgr. Marine ended in front of the school with a blessing of a new European-inspired shrine of Jesus on the Cross.
The day ended with the families of our third-grade students watching the Saints Parade. Every year the third graders dress up as their patron saint and recite a short story and sing songs.
