Thomas Schreiner Jr., 63, a resident of Upper Darby for more than 35 years, died Nov. 19.
He was a member of the Upper Darby Council of the Knights of Columbus and the Cardinal Dougherty Fourth Degree Assembly. He was an active member of St. Alice Parish in Upper Darby.
He enjoyed writing poetry and was known never to miss a family birthday.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas A. and Loretta (Carpenter) Schreiner; his godparents John and Mary Dugan, and his niece, Baby Mary.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Alice Church, with interment at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.
He is survived by his brothers Harry, Arthur, Joseph, Jack, Michael and Brother Charles Schreiner, B.G.S.; his sisters Peggy Dyer, Mariellen Van Anglen, Judy McAuliffe and Loretta Anne Schriener-Bailey; as well as nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews.
