St. Ignatius Parish in Yardley, Bucks County, will host an information session on annulments in the Catholic Church beginning 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, in the Religious Education Center of the parish located at 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley.
A representative from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Metropolitan Tribunal will discuss the grounds for marriage nullity cases, the procedure for the annulment process and its effects on the parties involved.
A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
Those benefiting from the session include any Catholic interested in Church teaching on marriage, divorced Catholics and those Catholics who have remarried, plus adult faith educators and candidates and catechumens in the R.C.I.A. who need an annulment.
