Local pro-lifers publicly proclaimed the sanctity of life in Philadelphia in recent days. On Saturday, Jan. 18 Father Steven DeLacy preached during a Mass in the chapel of the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in the morning, followed by a program of study and lectures on respect life issues at the nearby Archdiocesan Pastoral Center. On Monday, Jan. 20, a large contingent including many young people gave peaceful and prayerful witness outside an abortion clinic at 12th and Locust Streets in center city early in the morning. With more than 400 people participating, the intersection was closed by police.  (Video by Sarah Webb)
