Teenagers in grades nine to 12 are invited to a Theology of the Body for Teens workshop Feb. 22-23 at St. Peter Parish in West Brandywine, Chester County.
The dynamic faith formation program will use a great mix of stories, real-life examples, activities, prayers and relevant references to the culture to go beyond traditional chastity programs by connecting the two hottest topics on the planet — God and sex.
Theology of the Body for Teens answers the questions teens have about their own bodies, issues of sexual morality and how they are uniquely created for greatness.
Mike Field, St. Peter’s youth minister, and Tracy Phillips will lead the workshop.
It runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 22 and 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 23, and includes Mass at noon each day. The fee for the workshop is $50. Participants should register by Feb. 14 by contacting Mike Field at Michael.fieldjr@gmail.com or 484-680-4299.
