Among the first major events Kathia Arango will help facilitate in her new position at the Office for Hispanic Catholics is the observance of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness of the Americas.
The highlight of the Philadelphia celebration will take place on the vigil of the feast with a 9 p.m. Mass on Thursday, Dec. 11 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in center city Philadelphia.

The Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Charles Chaput and will be preceded by a procession to the cathedral from a number of churches in Philadelphia that have large Hispanic ministries.
These include St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Francis de Sales, Visitation B.V.M., St. Michael, Holy Innocents, St. Peter the Apostle and the former parish community of St. Joan of Arc, said Redemptorist Father Bruce Lewandowski, the Vicar for Cultural Ministries for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

I am signed up for a talk at the seminary. Would it be possible to attend Mass at 9pm. I am thinking of car pooling after the talk. Paul
