All are welcome to join the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia in a Candle Light Prayer Vigil on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 4:30 p.m. to honor the many victims of gun violence and to stand together in friendship, community, prayer and hope for a better world.

The vigil will be held in memory of the 20 children and six teachers who were killed in the shootings two years ago at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

The gathering will be located at the intersection of Convent and Red Hill Roads — 600 Red Hill Road — in Aston, Delaware County.
