The sweet sounds of Christmas were in the air at Villa Maria’s annual holiday concert Dec. 18. Leah Kim, Villa’s new music director conducted the string ensemble with beautiful renditions of “Greensleeves” and “Panis Angelicus.”
Fine Arts Chair Dr. Anthony Mosakowski directed the Madrigals and concert chorus as they performed Handel’s “Pueri, concinite” and a medley of songs from “Frozen.”
The handbell choir and concert chorus entertained everyone with other Christmas favorites.
As is the tradition at Villa Maria Academy, alumnae in the audience were invited on stage for the finale to join in singing “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” by Johann Sebastian Bach.
