Mater Dei Catholic School in Lansdale, reflecting on faith and family in the spirit of the World Meeting of Families, will gather mothers and fathers for separate evenings of reflection and discussion.
The first event Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Mater Dei Prayer Room invites for women to share the challenges modern couples and parents face in trying to steer a family to become a loving Christian household.
St. Stanislaus Parish’s Father Michael Mullan will discuss his experiences of working with many young families and couples with a bit of humor, and field any questions or concerns participants may have. They will then be invited to share their own experiences and wisdom with each other over wine and cheese.
The event is for mothers, grandmothers, godmothers and aunts.
The school is located at 493 East Main Street, Lansdale. Call 215-368-0995 for details.
