Is your prayer less than inspiring, and your prayer life in a rut? Do you find yourself longing for a deeper connection with God? Maybe it’s time to turn to a doctor for help.
A doctor of the church, the great Spanish mystic St. Teresa of Avila, is the focus of a five-week course on the four stages of prayer based on the saint’s teaching.
The program will be held Wednesdays, Feb. 17 through March 16 from 7-8:30 each night, at Corpus Parish Center (Conference Rooms B and C) at 900 Sumneytown Pike in Lansdale.

Courses include instruction and practice in mental prayer, meditation and contemplation. Tips on how to discern the voice of God, how to handle distractions and dryness in prayer, and how to recognize signs of advancing prayer are also included.
Susan Brinkmann, OCDS, will be the facilitator. Cost is $35. See the webpage for Corpus Christi Parish events here, including the event registration form here (print and mail the form to the parish).
