St. Laurence School, Upper Darby, held an assembly March 31 to recognize students in grades four through eight who received first and second honors in the last trimester.
The special guest speaker was Upper Darby Township Mayor Tom Micozzie, who gave an inspirational talk to the students about how their actions today will affect their future years. He also congratulated the parents and guardians of the students for being an integral part of their children’s lives.
School Principal Sister MaryAnne Bolger, I.H.M., joined the mayor in congratulating each student and posed for family photos after the ceremony.
