Event Description

This reflective evening will explore the epidemic of addiction in our society and our responsibility as followers of Christ in responding to those who are suffering. It is an educational, informational, and inspirational evening that is intended for everyone, including the afflicted and their families and friends, counselors, nurses, priests, deacons, etc., those in the criminal justice system, educators, and anyone who would like to learn more to become part of a solution to the current epidemic.

Each week covers one aspect of the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model of addiction.

This week’s focus is on some of the psychological theories that perhaps best explain the use of substances. Although the full benefit is achieved if you attend all four evenings, each evening is an independent presentation. Please join us even if you cannot attend all four evenings.
