The archdiocesan Office for Black Catholics and parishes of the Black Catholic community will host a Revival, with two evenings of inspiring preaching and praise.
The event will take place at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul Sept. 25 and 26 with a musical prelude at 6:30 p.m. and the Revival service at 7. Please bring a canned good on Tuesday, Sept. 26 to benefit Mother of Mercy House.
The Revival will feature Dominican Father Paul Whittington as the homilist, and include the Philadelphia Catholic Gospel Mass Choir and Immanuel Movement Praise Team.
The Cathedral is located at 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia.
