Event Description
St. Genevieve Parish in Flourtown is pleased to host the Savio Boy Choir as visiting music ministers for the 5 p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturday, Nov. 18. This choir, named for the patron saint of choirboys, is directed by Thomas Windfelder and Jeremy Triplett.
Come early to experience preludes and liturgical music that draws from the depths of the Roman Catholic tradition, probes the poignant contributions of the American spirituals tradition and features the luminous compositions of its director.
The choir is comprised of boys in grades three to eight from parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. More info about the choir can be found at www.savioboychoir.org.
