Jesus taught in parables as a way of catching his hearers off guard and surprising them with the message of the Kingdom of Heaven. In this Bible Study, we will discover how saints and scholars have understood the parables, and allow Jesus’ words to challenge us in new ways.
Presenter: Sr. Sara Butler, MSBT, S.T.L., Ph.D. has been a seminary professor of theology and is a consultant to the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization.
