Philly Missions will mark Good Friday (March 30) by performing the Stations of the Cross throughout the neighborhood surrounding St. Patrick’s Parish at 20th and Locust Streets.
The group will begin with a 9 a.m. prayer service in front of Planned Parenthood at 12th and Locust Streets. At 10 a.m., a team of missionaries will carry crosses through the city as part of a “crosswalk.”
At 1 p.m., a living Stations of the Cross will process from St. Patrick’s to the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.
The Stations will conclude with a celebration of the Passion of the Lord, which will take place both at the Cathedral (starting at 3 p.m.) and at St. Patrick’s (starting at 4 p.m.).
