On Jan. 19, Mother Boniface Spirituality Center will host a day of reflection and prayer entitled “Experience the Healing of God’s Mercy.”
The retreat, which begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 4 p.m., will offer an opportunity to gain understanding of God’s mercy for us and how we can imitate God in sharing mercy with those who have hurt us.
The day will include brief talks, opportunities for quiet reflection, time for prayer as well as the sacrament of Reconciliation.
Father Chris Walsh, pastor of St. Raymond Parish in Philadelphia, will lead the retreat. Father Walsh, who has been trained in the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, has preached retreats and days of recollection across the country.
Cost per person is $40, which includes coffee and danish upon arrival, plus lunch at 12 p.m. Registration and a deposit of $15 deposit are due by Jan. 10.
