You are welcome to come pray with us for these holiest days of the year. To complement our liturgies on Good Friday and Holy Saturday, we also invite you to join us for two morning conferences where Father Andrew Ciferni will review the historical development of the Church’s annual celebration of the Passover of the Lord Jesus.

The conferences will take a closer look at the texts, rites, art, and symbols of these our highest Catholic holy days. Father Andrew will show how the three days from the Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper up to and including Solemn Easter Baptismal Vespers are, in fact, one liturgy celebrated over three days — that draw us into our own Passover and call us to be collaborators in God’s new creation. (No registration is necessary for attending the conferences.

We will have baskets for a free will offering.) Note that the Abbey’s Spirituality Center has guest rooms, that are available for the Triduum. Guests are welcome to join the community for dinner on Holy Thursday and stay through a simple breakfast on Easter Sunday morning. We would ask an offering of $215 to help cover our costs. Please register early to guarantee that we will have a room for you.
