In his homily for the Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Father Joseph LoJacono, pastor of St. Veronica and St. Hugh of Cluny Parishes in Philadelphia, shares how we can trust the Lord hears our prayers.
As Jesus reminds us, the Lord always seeks what is best for us, even when we try to manipulate God through selfish and short-sighted pleas. By persevering in true prayer, we discover that the Lord has a greater plan for us that we can’t always understand, but that we can fully trust.
