The Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary, the largest and oldest association of Black Catholics in the United States, recognized 18 outstanding individuals for their accomplishments of service and leadership during a banquet Nov. 10 at Springfield Country Club. Chief among them was Gerald Davis, who accepted the Philadelphia Claver Award for his lifelong dedication to the Catholic church and its institutions in the Philadelphia region, especially St. Charles Seminary for which he serves a a trustee. Also honored were the following: Chaplain’s Award: Bryant Albergotti, Tyler Carter, Sierra DiCupe, Gianna Douglas, Samiya Henry, Attanaya Spady, Mi-gel Springer, Zuri Michael Stephens and Mariam Tanaibe; Body of Christ Community Service Award: Diane L.
