Event Description
Please join St Agatha and James and students of the Penn Newman Center as a community to celebrate Christmas in the Christian tradition. In the midst of our busy lives, we come together to share in the joy and peace that the infant Jesus brings to us at Christmas. We remember the birth of Jesus, over two thousand years ago, first prophesied by the prophets hundreds of years earlier.
We invite you to take a moment to contemplate the great mystery of God made man, the mystery of God who loves us so much that he came to us, being born as a tiny baby in a humble stable. The infant Jesus rested peacefully in the arms of Mary and Joseph. Tonight Jesus asks to rest peacefully in our hearts, he wants to bring peace, joy, and love to all of us.
Let us pray that we may take this peace, joy and love out into our community, out into the world.
