Gesu School in Philadelphia will host its 23rd annual symposium on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. via Zoom for a free conversation with Ibram X. Kendi, one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020 and a bestselling author, historian, professor and leading antiracist voice.

Always seeking to improve education for all of America’s inner-city children, Gesu School’s symposium was launched in 1997 to bring together educators, policymakers and other stakeholders to tackle the tough issues in urban education.

This year’s virtual event is moderated by Trina A. Gary and open to the public.

Gesu is a private Catholic grade school located in North Philadelphia. Visit GesuSchool.org to learn more.
