The Chester County Pro-Life Coalition sponsored a June 5 March for Life that drew some 500 participants for prayer, witness and presentations in downtown West Chester.
Speakers noted abortion’s staggering statistics while calling for a “paradigm shift” in countering abortion with greater support for those facing crisis pregnancies.

The Crikelair family – parents Josephine and Jesse, with their sons Paul, Derek and Michael – were among some 500 participants at a June 5 rally in West Chester sponsored by the Chester County Pro-Life Coalition.
Pro-life educator Pete DeMaio shared how abortion had devastated him and his wife Tricia prior to their marriage.
The Meyer family of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in West Chester joined hundreds for a June 5 Mass at St. Agnes Church in West Chester prior to a march for life sponsored by the Chester County Pro-Life Coalition.
Kim Savage of the Chester County Pro-Life Coalition predicted a “whole paradigm shift” in the movement to end legalized abortion in the U.S.
Attendees braved temperatures in excess of 90 degrees to participate in a June 5 march for life through West Chester, which concluded with speaker presentations at the borough’s historic courthouse.

Author and speaker Kathy Barnette, who was conceived during a rape, said she was grateful supportive family members “saw value in (her) mother’s life and in (her) own.”
During a June 5 Mass at St. Agnes in West Chester prior to a pro-life march, Philadelphia Auxiliary Bishop John McIntyre described abortion statistics as “staggering,” and urged an array of spiritual and practical outreaches to those facing crisis pregnancies.
