Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez offered the following message on Labor Day, Sept. 6, 2021:
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
On this Labor Day, I pray that each of you finds rest, refreshment, and hope in our Lord. May you lay your burdens and challenges at His feet and allow Him to wrap His loving and merciful arms around you. I wish you and your loved ones a happy and healthy Labor Day holiday as we pause to consider the impact of our work on the world around us. In the end, all is for the greater glory of God.
May God bless you all!
Most Rev. Nelson J. Pérez, D.D.
Archbishop of Philadelphia
