Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in South Philadelphia observed its 125th anniversary this year, for which Archbishop Nelson Perez celebrated Mass with the clergy and parishioners on Sunday, Oct. 31. Concelebrating the Mass was the parish’s pastor, Father Francis Cauterucci. Father John Donia, a son of the parish and now principal of Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, preached the homily.
