In the past week, faithful from Latin and Ukrainian-rite Catholic churches joined with the wider community in the Philadelphia region to pray for peace in Ukraine and the safety of the Ukrainian people. The invasion by Russian armed forces of Ukraine that began Feb. 24 continues to intensify, as do the prayers of people to God for renewed peace.
