St. Katharine of Siena Parish (104 South Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne) will host “Leadership Empowerment Day,” an all-day session to develop leaders for charismatic prayer groups at area parishes and ministries.

Presented by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal within the Philadelphia Archdiocese, the Aug. 20 gathering will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m., with praise, worship, teaching and fellowship on the agenda.

Presenters include Paul Hayes, Bobbi Cefaratti, Dan Fanning, Nick Saponara, Gloria Coyne and Father Rafal Walczyk, O.S.P.P.E.

Topics will survey the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as practical strategies for running “Life in the Spirit” seminars and prayer group meetings and involving youth.

Registration is required, with a $20 donation to cover the cost of a continental breakfast, hot lunch and materials.
