Dear Friends in the Jewish Community,

Together with the people of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, I extend prayerful best wishes as you prepare to celebrate the Festival of Lights in all of its beauty.

As you light the menorah and recall the glory of the Temple’s re-dedication, may you be filled you with joy and hope. May this Hanukkah also strengthen the bonds of love and affection you share with family and friends.
