Freshman Abby Gannon posted a 604 series and Lexi Horton totaled 522 as No. 2 Msgr. Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast High School claimed the 2023 Philadelphia Catholic girls’ bowling championship on Feb. 18 with a 2090-1877 victory over top seed St. Hubert’s at Bristol Lanes.
The win secured the program’s first PCL title since 2020 following the Pandas’ 1826-1691 semifinal win over two-time defending champion Conwell-Egan on Feb. 16.
Maria Hindman registered a total of 618 pins, including a game-high 224 for regular season champion St. Hubert’s, which was seeking its first league crown since 2019.
